    Japanese, Research society, In a general information education class for freshmen of Hokkaido University, we used a CPUsimulator in order to help students understand the calculation procedure on the CPU. The analysis of theresults of a questionnaire concerning the course showed that understanding, interest and motivation withregard to the basic principles of computers were improved by solving exercises using the simulator inaddition to textbook learning. As a result of the exercises, it was found that the material was useful not onlyto understand the principles of the CPU but to promote better understanding of "computational thinking."

    我々は，教師と学習者双方の側面から，ボトムアップから始めるデジタル教科書を用いた授業の実現を目指している。デジタル教材を用いたインタラクティブな授業を行うために，デジタル教科書とLMS（Moodle）を連携し，教師自身によるデジタル教科書作成のためのシステムを開発してきた。大学のBYOD（Bring Your Own Device）環境で，一般的な講義形式の授業において，LMS連携型デジタル教科書を作成し１セメスター用いた。BYODの授業では，学生が使用する様々な端末を配慮する必要があり，デジタル教科書の構成もそれに合わせて工夫する必要があった。アンケートによる調査の結果は，今後も継続してデジタル教科書を利用したい，という一定の評価が得られた。

    English, In this study, a new questionnaire was developed to measure judgmental and behavioral aspects of information ethics by asking students to give responses to questions on unethical uses of ICT tools. Four hundred and thirteen undergraduate students answered the questionnaire. Relationships between measured information ethics and gender, consciousness of everyday ethics, proficiency in ICT tools, and the amount of education received on information ethics were examined and the following results were obtained. Female students were more ethical than male students in both judgmental and behavioral aspects of information ethics. The consciousness of everyday ethics had a strong impact on information ethics. Students who use ICT tools for practical purposes were more ethical than other students. Attending classes on information ethics at university enhanced both aspects of information ethics. Information ethics classes at high school had some effect, but less than that of classes at university. Finally, possible combination effects of everyday ethics, experience in ICT, and the amount of education on information ethics were examined, but no such combination effects were detected by the analysis of variance.

    Japanese, Scientific journal, In this research, new questionnaire was developed to measure judgmental and behavioral aspects of information ethics by asking students to give responses to unethical use of computers and the internet. Four hundred and thirteen undergraduate students were answered the developed questionnaire. Relationships of measured information ethics with gender, everyday ethics, experience in computers and the internet, and experiences in information ethics education were examined. Results demonstrated that female students were more ethical than male students on both of judgmental and behavioral aspects of information ethics. Everyday ethics had strong impact on information ethics. Students who use computers and the internet for practical purpose had more ethical than the others. More experiences in information ethics classes in universities enhanced both aspects of information ethics. Information ethics classes in high school had effects, but it was less influential than ones in university. Lastly, possible combination effects of everyday ethics, experience in computers and the internet, and experiences in information ethics education on information echics were examined, but no such effect was detected by analysis of variance.

    Japanese, Research institution, Based on our practices of learning materials development, we examined the current situations and issues of the computer ethics education in Japanese higher education, especially at universities and colleges, and discussed the future frameworks. As a collaboration between the Association of Information Technology Centers in Japanese National Universities and National Institute of Multimedia Education（NIME, abolished in 2009）, a project on the development of learning materials for computer ethics education was proposed, and three series of Learning Object-oriented video materials were released after FY2002. In addition, the cartoons which focused on computer ethics were produced and used at the classrooms. In this paper, we analyzed the educational effects in the actual practices and showed the remained issues of the media materials. In order to clarify the new goals of the future computer ethics education and to disseminate the innovative materials and pedagogy based on the scientific researches, it is indispensable to examine how the awareness of computer ethics is influenced by the moral awareness in every-day life and the knowledge and experiences on the Internet. We developed a scale to measure the awareness of computer ethics and evaluated it in some educational contexts. For the next step, we are examining the possibilities of international comparative studies using the awareness scale.

    English, We have proposed a multi-step mutual-evaluation method and applied it to classes with more than 100 students to evaluate the learning effect. The method has three steps. In the first step learners submit answers in a subject. In the second step learners evaluate mutually some of the answers which are selected randomly. In the final step learners make self-evaluation about both their own answers and their evaluations of the other learners' answers by comparing evaluations by the other learners. The method has been shown to be effective in large-size classes. The mutual-evaluations are usually performed outside class-hours in large-size classes by using of a learning management system and are considered to encourage self-learning effectively.

    Japanese, We have had an experimental class of cross-culture communication in a distance education between Hokkaido University and Stanford University in USA through JGN and APAN lines. We have employed DVTS for providing clear audio-visual presentations. We have developed a system for control over cameras to assist face-to-face learning in the distance education. In the system teachers can easily focus each student individually by clicking a name of a student in the list of login-users or a preset area in a bitmap image of a computer room for the class.

    The utilization of information technology and the many services using internet have widely spread across the border, and there are many common troubles and problems caused by them among countries. We are exploring the way to translate our video teaching materials on computer ethics or to develop such teaching materials by the international collaboration to cope with the situation.     We produced two versions of educational video clips on information ethics for use in liberal arts in 2002 and 2004.     The authors planned and produced a digital video material for computer ethics education in higher education. This paper describes its content and evaluation of the second video of the computer ethics series. As compared to the first video that consisted of 9 clips, this second video contains 20 clips covering technical, legal and social issues. There are 105 learning items in the second video, 57 of them are related to attitude and 48 are related to knowledge. We developed total of 122 yes/no questions on 61 learning items, and used them in the pre/post tests.     本研究では，学習者が生涯学び続ける前提に立ち，SNS等の個人の情報発信が重要度を増す社会において，役割取得能力を重視した情報倫理の発達段階を規定すること，また学習者がその段階を深化させるために必要な学習要件を明らかにすること，さらには，その深化に寄与する教材や学習フレームワークを開発し，学習者の情報倫理の発達段階の深化を実際に評価・確認し，その有用性を明らかにすることを目的としている。
    本研究では，情報倫理の発達段階を評価する際，複数の登場人物の視点に立つことを求めるとともに，それが容易に発想できるジレンマ問題を，ある漫画シーンを起点にした物語創作の連鎖により開発することを特徴とする。
    実際の授業実践においては，学習者の発達段階は自己評価・相互評価により評価させ，学習者集団全体の情報倫理の発達段階を深化させることを目指している。また，授業実践を踏まえ，自学可能な生涯学習へのシステム構築についても検討を進めることまでを想定する。
    このような状況の中，2022年度は，本研究の基本的な事項となる漫画のシーン開発と，システム構築について取り組んだ。
    漫画のシーン開発として，近年話題となっている描画に関するオープンなAIエンジンであるStableDiffusionを用い，各種の種となりうる漫画開発を実践し，利用可能なものを抽出した。さらに，学習者の発達段階を調査するためのシステムとして，Moodleのプラグインを新たに開発した。学習者への問いに対する判断状況の分岐を可視化して確認できるものである。なお，本可視化システムは，現状では教授者側としての確認機能であるが，生涯教育を目指し，可視化状況を学習者側に落とし込むことも今後は検討する。

    本研究は，コンピュータによる創作支援ツールを用いた著作物の創作活動を通し，高度情報社会における著作権のあり方を文化の発展の見地から総合的に考察することのできる人材育成を目的とする。
    本目的を達成するために，①許諾された原著作物を用いた二次的著作物の創作環境の構築，②コンピュータ創作支援ツールを用いた素材の組み合わせと分割のロジック構築，③創作活動実践における学習者の著作権に関わる理解レベルを評価確認する手法の構築，の３つの柱を立てて研究を進めることを計画してきた。
    2021年度は，「①許諾された原著作物を用いた二次的著作物の創作環境の構築」「②コンピュータ創作支援ツールを用いた素材の組み合わせと分割のロジック構築」について，既存のシステムの改善に向けての準備を進めた。
    具体的には，過去に行った実践による二次的著作物に使われている素材を用いた創作キャラクタの類似度をいくつかの指標で確認するとともに，学習者が創作する二次的著作物の創作環境を，ラスタ形式の画像の利用からベクタ形式の画像の利用とするような改善について，検討を進めた。これは学習者の創作した作品群が違和感ない仕上がりにするための中間的作業である。
    「③創作活動実践における学習者の著作権に関わる理解レベルを評価」については、オンラインではあるが、20名程度の学習者に対し，著作権についての理解度を確認するためのレポートを課し，その分析評価を行っているところである。

    This study proposed a system in which tasks in cooperative learning are divided into executable sub-tasks, and the results of the sub-tasks are brought together to accomplish the tasks in cooperative learning after the sub-tasks are accomplished in individual learning. This research realized this by integrating multiple robots on an IoT platform. We also conducted a class practice using the developed system. The learners were able to plan their own work using multiple robots in class, and each learner was able to share the work and combine the results to achieve the overall task. The results showed that cooperative learning is possible.

    We constructed the Information Placement Test System at universities as part of high school/university connection, and conducted a demonstration experiment.By this, we were able to grasp the acquisition situation of knowledge and skills about the information which had been learned to high school.And it became possible to use it more effectively for the operation of general information education in each university. For example, class formation by ability, selection of student assistant, credit accreditation, curriculum modification etc.
    Also, by conducting the Information Placement Test every year from now on, We will be able to grasp the situation of new students by year. In particular, The school's course of study, which will be revised after 2020, will also clarify what changes will appear.

    The purpose of this study is to develop learning programs to promote interest and attention for the computational/informatics scientific understanding, like as Information Study at high-school level, Technology Study at junior high school level and Information Education for all educational level. In this research, we have defined the core competencies of computational/informatics scientific understanding. They are 1) abstraction and algorithmic thinking, 2) coding and system and 3) information design. For these three topics, we have developed some learning program with web-based learning tools and paｌm-top learning devices.

  • Development and Evaluation of Learning programs composed by Manga materials for Information Ethics Education

    The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate learning programs of information ethics education. The program consists of manga materials (cartoon, four-frame manga, comic, etc.). Learners are mainly students (from K-12 to university), which also include international students at the university.
    Manga is a visual representation consisting of words and pictures. Manga is possible to strengthen emphasis points and also to omit the other unimportant points.
    In the first step, learners infer awareness of the issue through the presented manga materials. The learners confirm that their recognitions might be different from the others even if they see the same manga materials.In the next step, the differences in recognition are discussed as a group work. The problem is expected to be solved through group discussions by checking it from different points of view of the group members. It is suggested that these learning programs are effective also for lifelong learning.

    We have developed Manga teaching materials to make information-ethics education effectively for university students including foreign students. We have produced 17 kinds of multi-language materials by way of trial. We have found out dependences of using sequence between video and Manga materials on levels of learning items by practices of education with using both materials for almost all freshman students of 2,600 in Hokkaido University.     We studied the present status of the information ethic education in Asia, Europe and the United State. We adopted the following methods : Internet Research (US and China), direct interviews to those who take care of such education, investigation of student's reaction when they watched our information ethic video clips with sub-titles. In order to see the effect of each nation's culture to the internet reaction, we designed a questionnaire which reveals the relation between people's daily behavior and their actions on the Internet.

    本研究の目的は,高等学校情報科における情報の科学的な理解促進のための教育プログラムの開発にある.学校教育における情報教育の一環としての情報科の位置づけを意識し,さらには情報産業を担う人材の早期育成の観点からプログラムの具体化および運用を図るものである.本研究において,情報の科学的理解のための根本を「情報の表現法」としてとらえ,さらにそのミニマムエッセンシャルズとして,以下の3学習対象として定め、3ヶ年の研究期間において,以下の研究成果を得た.1)情報的見方・考え方の根本を成す「アルゴリズム的思考」AL・大学レベルの教育における課題例題材と各題材に対する代表的なエラー解答の収集(情報系学部専門科目9か年分、工学系専門科目2か年分)・アルゴリズム設計用ツールの開発と大学での教育実践(工学系専門科目半期)2)システム設計・運用分野で基礎としての「符号と情報システム」IS・符号体系の設計と設計した符号を利用した飛行船制御を通しで情報システムの基礎を学ぶ教材"マジカル・スプーン"の設計/量産/配布と、実践支援(小中校合わせて延べ50校、約4500人の児童・生徒)および教員向けワークショップの企画・運営・マジカル・スプーン教育実践事集の編纂3)マルチメディア分野の基本概念としての「情報的デザイン」ID・「体験!情報デザイン」ワークショップの企画・運営・大学レベルでの情報デザイン課題事例集...

  • 高校普通教科「情報」の実施実態の総合的調査

    高校普通教科「情報」が必履修として新設、授業が開始されてから3年が経過したため、実施実態の全国規模の調査を行った。授業開始直後の2003年に、研究分担者の一部により全国規模の調査(履修状況や授業内容、授業環境、評価等)を行った結果を踏まえ、次の7つの観点から調査項目を決定した。A.教科「情報」実施の目標B.実施されている教科「情報」のカリキュラムC.教科「情報」の指導方法と教材D.教科「情報」の指導体制E.教科「情報」の評価方法F.情報教育施設の状態と活用状況G.教科「情報」に対する教員の意識これらの観点に基づき、各観点3〜10程度の質問(詳細部分は除く)を作成、現職教員(東京都、石川県、山口県、福岡県)の評価を受け、改善し、全国から2000高等学校(5700校中)をランダム抽出し、情報教育担当者にアンケート回答の依頼をした。回答率は10.1%(202校)で、普通高校182校、工業科などの専門科高校20校から回答があった。回答結果より、以下の実態が明らかとなった。・普通教科「情報」の授業は、相変わらず実習の内容を中心に進められている・研修を希望しているが実際に受けることができる教員は半数以下である・授業外のPC運用管理に負担を感じる教員が少なくない・コンピュータ、ネットワーク、プロジェクタ等、授業に必要な環境整備は未だ不十分である以上の実態より、「情報教育のカリキュラムの改訂...

  • 多重αクラスター配位を基底とした不安定核およびハイパー核の構造と反応

    本研究の目的は、α粒子(^4Heの原子核)を単位とした原子核のクラスター模型を考え、核子数が100に至る所まで系統的にその構造を調べるものである。平成15年-16年度の2年間での研究課題であり、今年は最終年度であるため、ここでは、この2年間の成果と今後の課題について下記で述べる。1.7αクラスター模型における^<28>Siの構造計算αクラスター模型での系統的な核構造計算を行うために最初に取り上げたのは、Si原子核である。^<28>Siの比較的低励起エネルギー領域(7MeV-10MeV)には,3^-,0^-,5^-という負のパリティを持った状態がバンド構造を持って存在している。これらの集団的状態は,当然ながらsd殻模型では表現できない。我々は,^<28>Siを7αクラスターの状態として考え,最近接対が多くなるような幾何学的配位を混合し,GCM計算を行った。その結果,まだ詳細な詰めはまだ残っているものの,^<28>Siの集団的構造がαクラスターの高分子状態として理解しうることを指摘した。同時に,D_<6h>の対称性のある2次元クラスター状態である「Rokka」状態を予言した。ここまでは、本研究成果として、平成15年のInternational Conferenceで発表した。Rokka状態から3次元状態への遷移は,その特異性から非常に小さいと考えられ,安定化することが予想される。...

  • 中間子交換反応によるハイパー核の生成と同定

    本年度は、研究課題のテーマの一つであるハイパー核の同定に関して、_<ΛΛ>^4Hのπ放出弱崩壊の研究を進めた。その背景としてBNL-E906実験で_<ΛΛ>^4Hからの弱崩壊π^-を観測したとの報告がなされていることが挙げられる。_<ΛΛ>^4Hは、予言されている最も軽いダブルΛハイパー核である。その存在は、ΛΛ間力が引力であるという強い示唆を与えるとともに、通常核での重陽子の役割のように、ストレンジネス-2核の研究の礎となろう。その意味で、実験結果を理論的に検証することは重要である。本研究では、理論的に計算した_<ΛΛ>^4Hの弱崩壊π^-の幅とスペクトルを、上記実験データと比較することに焦点をあてた。崩壊幅に関しての結果は、2000年秋の日本物理学会で、スペクトルも含めた結果については、2月にソウルで行われた国際シンポジウムでオーラルに選ばれ発表した。計算の枠組みとしては、インパルス近似を用い、3、4体系の束縛状態に関しては、組換えチャンネル結合法を用いて変分的に求めた。散乱状態は、各チャンネルにおいて、πを除いた核と放出粒子をいう2体問題として考え、そのポテンシャルは、上記で解かれた束縛状態の波動関数を用いて畳み込んだものを使った。この手続きはシングルΛ核のπ弱崩壊で行ってきたこれまでの手法を踏襲しており、その理論計算は実験結果と良く対応していた。しかし今回の理論計算は...
