  本研究はサウディ・アラビア，アルジェリア，エジプト，シリア，イラン等の中東ムスリム社会で長期にわたり収集された日本人による貴重な現地調査資料を活用して「被調査者参加型の合意形成」に基づくデジタル保存記録に関する国際的かつ超学際的研究を推進することを目的とする．初年度（2021年度）はまず，本研究において扱う主な現地調査資料，すなわち（1）中東ムスリム社会の文化人類学・人文地理学研究の開拓者，故片倉もとこによるサウディ・アラビア西南部ワーディ・ファーティマでの写真・地図・スケッチ等の研究資料（1968-2003年），（2）乾燥地研究，伝統的水利用の人文地理学的比較研究の第一人者，故小堀巌によるアルジェリア，サハラ沙漠イン・ベルベル、またエジプト西部ハルガ・オアシスやシリア中央部タイベ・オアシスでの写真・地図・フィールドノート等の研究資料（1968-2010年），（3）人文地理学者・農村社会学者，故大野盛雄によるイラン南部マルヴダシュト地方の村社会と地域経済に関する写真・地図・フィールドノート等の研究資料（1964-2007年）それぞれの学術資料アーカイブとしての課題点を精査した．上記現地調査資料のうち， デジタル化に着手していない資料についてデジタル化作業を開始した．片倉もとこによるサウディ・アラビア西南部ワーディ・ファーティマでの写真・地図・スケッチ等の研究資料（1968-2003年）については，これまでの調査研究内容と現時点での進捗状況に基づき，研究代表者・研究分担者が共著論文7本を執筆し，『片倉もとこ調査資料の研究』（西尾哲夫・縄田浩志編，国立民族学博物館調査報告153, 216p.）としてまとめあげた．

  オープンサイエンス(以下「OS」)を推進するには，ビッグデータ，コレクションデータだけでなく，ロングテールデータと呼ばれる，研究室，所蔵庫等に蓄積されている未公開の多種多様かつ膨大な数の研究資料(以下「研究室データ」)の公開が急務である．本研究の目的は，OS推進に欠かせない研究室データの早期公開・早期利用を可能とする運用手法・研究手法を提案し，複数分野で実証することである．１年目は，新型コロナ感染症の影響で活動が限定的なものとなりながらも，「逐次公開」の定義や関係者の役割について議論するとともに，早期公開（逐次公開）に資するリポジトリ用タグ管理システムを開発した．また，関連研究者と共催でシンポジウムを開催した．具体的な内容は次のとおりである．
  Ⅰ．逐次公開型運用モデルの開発：「逐次公開」の定義の明確化のためのブレインストーミングを行い，「逐次公開」の定義と研究データの整理段階(初期登録)～利活用に至る段階(オープン化の段階)における関係者の役割を明確化した．
  Ⅱ．プラットフォーム開発：早期公開（逐次公開）に資するタグ管理システムを開発した．具体的には，ユーザなどがコンテンツに独自のキーワード（タグ）を付与することによって分類を行うコンテンツをデータリポジトリに再登録したり，登録済みのコンテンツのメタデータを書き換えたりすることなく，タグ管理によりユーザなどが利用を想定する学術資源群を作成するものである．
  Ⅲ．資料の調査と実証：逐次公開型運用モデルについて検討し，複数の未整理の地域資料を対象に実証を行う予定であったが，新型コロナ感染症の影響で限定的なものとなった．
  Ⅳ．シンポジウムの開催：地域の資料の保存・継承・利活用に関わる研究者，実務者が集まりシンポジウムを開催し，様々な観点で地域資料の保存・継承，逐次公開，早期公開について議論を行った．

  【要素研究１．先行アーカイブ事業の調査】昨年度に引き続き、資料コンテクスト情報の質と量、構築作業に要する時間コストの見込みを、既存デジタルアーカイブおよびWEB公開情報を中心に閲覧・分析を行った。また活動終了後の複数アーカイブを継承・集約したポータル的なアーカイブ（アーカイブのアーカイブ）を対象に、コンテクスト関連メタデータの管理・公開状態を調査した。
  
  
  【要素研究２．コンテクスト回避プログラムが事業持続性に貢献するための作業概念モデルの構築】最低限の資料探索およびコンテクスト情報として優先的に採取することが有用である複数情報を実際にミニマムコンテクスト情報として選び、アーカイブ理論との整合性を確かめつつ作業概念モデルを検討した。また、こうした総合的理解に至る前の情報の公開・利用において課題となる情報の信頼性・鮮度に対して有効な手段である、資料情報のバージョン管理手法の検討を行った。
  
  
  【要素研究３．資料コンテクスト回避プログラムの実践と効果検証】研究対象資料のひとつである水産学教授用掛図のコンテクスト情報に関する文献調査を継続して行った。統合されていない／未確定な状態のメタデータの整備作業においても、ミニマムコンテクスト情報として本年度研究で仮措定した各種情報が資料調査上有用であることを確かめた。ミニマムコンテクスト情報は、アーカイブの持続性に貢献する早期の情報公開においても有効であることが示唆された。

• 少子高齢社会のウェルビーイング創成型地域学習コンテンツの開発

  1.高齢者のニーズ把握と課題の明確化
  1)道内高齢者団体の博物館利用動向とニーズ調査 ①事例調査：北海道博物館の高齢者団体の2017年度入場数は、206（24.8%）と学校団体（34.4%）に次ぎ多数だった。内訳は老人福祉・介護施設（以下、施設）が一般団体より多く、老人デイサービスセンターが最多67だった。聞き取り調査（N=5）では、施設はレク、一般団体は学習を目的とし、バリアフリーや体験型設備等が不十分な地域博物館では、ソフト面での工夫やプログラム開発が重要と考えられた。②郵送法アンケート：道央、道北の老人デイサービスセンターのレク担当職員218名（回収率37.1%）への調査では、「博物館・資料館（49.0%）」「動物園（31.2%）」が利用多数で、「出張型のレク（48.3%）」「介助支援（44.9%）」、博物館の役割では「懐かしさの体験の場（71.2%）」への要望が多数だった。
  2.協働による地域学習プログラムの作成
  1)地域ナレッジ収集とプログラム試行 ①実行体制の整備と試行：士別市朝日町、名寄市智恵文を拠点に、モデル組織機関と連携して計6回の活動を実施し、同地の農林業や生活用具に関する回想法サロンを試行した。②資料情報化・動画記録：地域ナレッジをモデル館の所蔵資料へ情報付与することを目的に、サロンの動画記録を行った。同地の過去の映像資料を視聴するとともに、資料所在を聞き取り調査した。2)認知症予防プログラム実践団体の組織化 名寄市日新を拠点に、市民と大学教員各数名を、賛同者・指導者として確保し、話し合い協力できる関係を形成して活動基盤を整備した。個人の生活様式、食・栄養を中心とする健康管理状況等を観点に、認知症予防に役立つチェックリストの作成を開始した。
  3.成果の普及 1)ウェブでの情報発信 本研究の情報発信と映像を通じた世代間交流のため、HPとSNSページを仮構築した。

  In recent years, how to collect and conserve the contemporary art is becoming an increasingly big problem, because of the diversity of medium, genre, and form of exhibition. This research is composed of Japanese and foreign conservators, curators, art historians, and aesthetics researchers. During the period, we researched the foreign museums, held the international and national symposiums, and held the exhibition. Based on these results, we have published the report "Conservation and Restauration of the Contemporary Art: for the Network of its idea, method, and information" composed of 24 articles and reports.

  In this research, we propose version control and citation method of research data in research data repository and develop proto-type system using these methods. Version control method for research data targets content file and its metadata. A persistent identifier is given for each landing page. version control method for research data reporistory is developed based on Memento framework and provides versioning information of research data to machines. In the research data citation method, we examined the method of providing citation information by Citation Style Language.

  In order to collect effective information from various user groups for utilizing technological materials in museums, this research shows it both effective for activating communication between the user who experienced to use the instruments and the user who had not; to use video recording as “Inter media” between two groups, and to utilize the questions as prompter from the latter user. Those questions are focused and deepened through the process where the users actually relive the situation of using instruments. Making and maintaining the place for these communications, system with triggering question-actions should be designed through clustering the latter user group into sub groups according to the degree of interest toward the instrument and the motivation for putting questions.

• History of Science Research from the Perspective of the Scientific Instruments Originated from the Prewar Third and Forth Higher Schools

  We selected the oscillographs, galvanometers, X-ray tubes, spectral elements as research subjects from the historical physical apparatus originated from the prewar Third and Forth Higher Schools. We carried out the research of the four themes of the history of science from the perspective of these scientific instruments. We studied history of science combining historical literature and research information based on the appearance / internal investigation of instruments. We also studied history of science combining historical literature and the information by reprication experiments using the historical optical element such as Echelon. We shot 4 films of the optical experiment process and made these the materials that can be used for the research of the history of science.
