  • InGaAs系量子井戸におけるメゾスコピック・スピン輸送効果の検証

    InP格子整合系InGaAs量子井戸に関して、ゼロ磁場スピン分離項を定量的明らかにした。これまで定量的な解明に至らなかったRashba項の存在を初めて明確に示すとともに、その大きさについても定量的な解明を行った。具体的には、極低温での磁気伝導度に見られる弱反局在効果の理論解析により、Rasha係数αと井戸内電場の間の厳密な比例関係を示すことに初めて成功した。また、この系でのDresselhaus項が非常に小さいことも同時に明らかにした。更に、ゲートによりが正負に変化するウェハ上に作製したメゾ系ループ配列構造での時間反転量子干渉効果を測定し、半古典理論モデルの有効性を実証した。

    古賀 貴亮
    半導体におけるスピン軌道相互作用は、量子情報素子を初めとする次世代エレクトロニクスの基本原理として注目を浴びている。本研究では、その基本舞台とも言えるIn_<0.53>Ga_<0.47>As/In_<0.52>Al_<0.48>As量子井戸を取り上げ、スピン干渉効果をはじめとする低温での電気伝導測定によりスピン軌道相互作用定数を定量的に決定することに成功した。
