Profile
I'm a lecturer of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), focusing solely on bachelor- and PhD-course students at the faculty of veterinary medicine. My specialty is a branch of EFL called English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Basically, I must provide field-specific language tools to veterinary students so they can navigate the global context. As I am neither trained as a veterinarian nor are there any EFL texts specifically designed for veterinarians, I often apply corpus linguistics as a method to develop useful course materials.
