代数解析の理論と計算機代数の手法を融合させることで, 特異点の複素解析的諸性質を解析する新たな枠組みを構築した。特異点論ではは様々な複素解析的不変量が知られているが, それらを求めるアルゴリズムを考案し, 開発したプログラムを数式処理システムに実装した. これらのプログラムを用いて, 特異点研究を行った。またPoincare-Birkof-Witt代数における抱合的グレブナ基底を用いることで, 非孤立特異点を持つ超曲面に付随するホロノミーD-加群を求めるアルゴリズムを構成した. さらに, 典型的な特異点に対し, これらホロノミーD-加群の構造を解析した。これにより特異点の諸性質を明らかにした。

代数解析の理論と計算代数の手法に基づくことで, 複素解析的な特異点の研究を行った。主な研究成果は, (i)収束冪級数環における拡張イデアルメンバーシップ問題を扱うアルゴリズム. (ii) 収束冪級数環におけるintegral numberとintegral dependence relationの一般化およびそれらを求めるアルゴリズム, (iii)対数的ベクトル場と Bruce-Roberts MIlnor数を求めるアルゴリズム, (iv) 超曲面に付随するホロノミーD-加群を求めるアルゴリズムとその応用, (v) generic Le number を求めるアルゴリズム等の導出・開発である。

超幾何微分方程式に含まれる3つの固有パラメータに大きなパラメータを1次関数として導入するとWKB解と呼ばれる形式解が構成できる。この構成は代数的、初等的に可能であるが得られた解は一般に発散し、そのままでは解析的な意味を持たない。この形式的に解をボレル総和法を適用することができ、解析的な解が構成できる。一方、超幾何微分方程式には超幾何関数で表示される標準的な解析解が知られている。本研究では、これらの古典的な解とWKB解のボレル和として得られる解の間の線型関係式を明らかにした。応用として超幾何関数のパラメータに関する漸近展開の公式を一般的に得た。ストークス現象を記述する式も併せて得られている。
