  Japanese, 本件は、２００４（平成１６）年７月１１日施行の第２０回参議院議員通常選挙について、東京都選挙区の選挙人であるＸら（原告、上告人）が、公職選挙法の一部を改正する法律（平成１２年法律第１１８号）による改正後の参議院選挙区選出議員の定数配分規定（公職選挙法第１４条）は憲法第１４条第１項等に違反し無効であるから、本件定数配分規定に基づき施行された、当該選挙区における本件選挙も無効であると主張して提起した選挙無効訴訟（公職選挙法第２０４条）である。

  In this research project, we have tried to analyze the symbolical meaning of the parliamentary seat-order (Sitzordnung). Also the significance of the idea of the "network-state" in so-called multipolar order-making system was explored.
