Scientific journal, This study aims to investigate the suitability of earthen housing for refugees and establish a more efficient system for selecting and adjusting materials by quantitatively analyzing the influence of various factors affecting the mechanical performance of earthen housing. This paper examined the impact of dry unit weight, particle size distribution of soil solidification, clay minerals, and pH on the mechanical performance of soil solidification through compressive strength testing. Additionally, the tensile strength resulting from capillary forces between particles was estimated using a prediction equation, and the effects of capillary forces and cohesive forces due to clay minerals were quantitatively assessed by comparing them with the results of the compressive strength experiments. In an alkaline environment, conflicting results were obtained regarding the effect of the dispersion of particles on compressive strength, depending on the presence or absence of clay minerals in the soil. Based on these results, the implementation of earthen houses constructed in the target refugee camp was evaluated, and strategies for building houses more efficiently under given conditions were discussed. - ITZ properties of LWA surroundings in high strength mortar according to LWA/sand with relative humidity

Japanese, Sampling bag method has been widely used as a method to stably understand the CO2 uptake performance of building materials. Because a sampling bag shrinks in absorbing CO2, it is very easy to understand, and it is possible to relatively evaluate the CO2 uptaking performance of various materials. On contrary, quantitative estimation of CO2 uptake with the sampling bag method is difficult. 2025 - 2025, In the domestic construction industry, technological development for CO2 fixation is progressing. In the construction waste processing sectors, It is known that “recycled concrete roadbed” has CO2 fixation performance because it was made of concrete demolition waste. It has a larger surface area than conventional concrete structures, enabling them to fix CO2 from the atmosphere simply by being placed in stockyards. To address this, we has launched a working group aimed at equipping recycled concreate roadbed manufacturers with the essential knowledge and expertise needed to understand the amount of CO2 fixed during the recycled concrete roadbed manufacturing process. As a result, conducted a nationwide survey on CO2 fixation in concrete waste achieves the results which are comparable to those from a similar study conducted 16 years ago. - CARBONATION DEGREE OF C-S-H IN WET-DRY CYCLE
